Construction - Site Foreman & Skilled Labourers

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out carpentry work across construction projects to a high standard
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades, and subcontractors
- Comply with WHS legislation, site safety plans, and company policies
- Support site teams in meeting project timelines and quality benchmarks
- Oversee day-to-day trade and labour activities on site
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site workers
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings and enforce WHS compliance
- Monitor work progress and quality, identifying and resolving issues early
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation
- Liaise with the site supervisor or project manager on progress and resourcing




- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel across all phases of work
- Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Monitor project progress and timelines, addressing issues before they elevate
- Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and records
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders as required

About You

- Trade-qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
- Solid experience in construction carpentry — formwork, framing, fit-out, or similar
- Current White Card
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Current valid driver's licence
- Proven experience in a site foreman or leading hand role within construction
- Trade background with strong knowledge of construction methods and sequencing
- Relevant tickets and certifications including White Card
- Strong communication and crew management skills
- Ability to lead, problem-solve, and maintain standards under pressure
- Current valid driver's licence
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination
- Relevant qualifications, tickets, and certifications including White Card
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Current valid driver's licence
