Yandina Smiles is currently looking for an experienced/Senior Dental Assistant to join our team on a Casual or Part -Time basis 3-4 days a week including the occasional Saturday. This is an exciting chance to be part of a dynamic and growing dental practice that offer a wide variety of treatments from general check ups to Implants. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient files
- Greeting patients and ensuring a positive clinical experience
- Providing chairside support and patient education
- Ensuring the dental surgery is clean, organised and well-stocked
- Undertaking other administrative and clerical duties as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and qualified demeanour
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good computer skills and familiarity with Exact dental software
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- A passion for working in the dental industry and contributing to the overall success of the practice
