As we prepare for the upcoming fire season, we are seeking a Helicopter Refueller / Truck Driver to join our team at Bankstown Airport . This position plays a critical role in supporting aerial firefighting and aviation operations, ensuring aircraft, fuel and equipment are ready to respond when needed.
The Opportunity
This hands-on role supports day-to-day aircraft operations and will see you working closely with pilots, engineers and operational personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining fuel and equipment readiness while contributing to safe and efficient operations throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Refuel helicopters and support aircraft ground operations.
- Operate fuel trucks in accordance with Dangerous Goods requirements.
- Assist with loading and handling firefighting substances and operational equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of refuelling equipment.
- Provide ground support to aircraft, vehicles and operational equipment.
- Maintain fuel storage facilities, yards and operational areas.
- Complete operational documentation, inspections and fuel records.
- Follow company safety procedures and WHS requirements at all times.
- Travel to support firefighting and aviation operations when required.
