What you could be doing

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll empower people with disability to live independently and achieve their goals by:

- Supporting daily living skills including cooking, domestic tasks and developing independence
- Providing personal care including showering, dressing, toileting and feeding
- Encouraging community participation, hobbies and social connections
- Administering medication and following individual support plans
- Completing accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reports
- Supporting customers both at home and in the community




- Utilising diabetes management and PEG feeding skills where required (training desirable)

Upcoming shift opportunities

We anticipate opportunities across a variety of shifts, including:

- Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Sleepover shifts
- Active overnight: 10:00pm – 6:00am

We'd love to hear from you if you have

- A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting people with disability
- Confidence providing personal care
- Availability across weekdays, weekends, sleepovers and active nights
- Excellent communication skills with verbal and non-verbal customers
- Solid computer skills for documentation and reporting
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent)
- Qualifications in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (desirable)
- A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and Full Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
