Mercedes-Benz Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced and motivated New Vehicle Detailer to join our professional Service Team.
Located in the heart of the beautiful Sunshine Coast, our dealership is recognized for delivering exceptional customer service and presenting every Mercedes-Benz to the highest possible standard. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for quality and is committed to ensuring every vehicle leaves our showroom looking its absolute best.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm , allowing you to enjoy your evenings and weekends while building your career with one of Australia's most respected automotive brands.
About the Role
As our Recent Vehicle Detailer, you will play a vital role in preparing new Mercedes-Benz vehicles for customer delivery. Every vehicle must meet the premium standards expected of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
- Preparing and detailing new vehicles to an exceptional standard.
- Machine polishing using both Dual Action (DA) and rotary buffing machines .
- Removal of minor imperfections where required.
- Applying polishes, waxes and paint protection products.
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to showroom presentation standards.
- Conducting final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
- Working efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or new vehicle preparation.
- Experience using DA and rotary polishing machines .
- Sound knowledge of detailing products, polishing compounds and paint care techniques.
- A genuine passion for producing high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in every vehicle you prepare.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A current manual driver's licence (preferred).
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work effectively within a professional team environment.
