About the Role:
Ozone Hospitality Services is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of an aged care facility in Toowoomba. This role is essential in ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and presentable for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patching and painting walls and surfaces
- Basic plumbing repairs (e.g. clearing blockages, fixing minor leaks)
- Equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Furniture repairs and upkeep
- Basic carpentry tasks
- Replacement of light globes
- Waste removal and site cleanliness
- Gutter cleaning and preventative maintenance
About You:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role
- Basic knowledge across multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, general repairs)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable, proactive, and physically capable
