About the role
- Casual position with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.
- Weekend availability is essential, with higher pay rates applying to weekend shifts under the Pharmacy Award.
- Hands-on role supporting pharmacists and dispensary staff in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Help manage stock in the dispensary, including unpacking orders and checking for expiries.
- Package and label medications in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to patients,
answering basic queries or referring to pharmacists when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised dispensary and front-of-shop area as required.
About You
- Previous dispensary experience essential.
- Able to work weekends and some evenings as part of a rotating roster.
- Robust attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional manner with a genuine interest in helping patients.
