Play Force is seeking a Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team. The position being offered is a dynamic and autonomousrole, providing variety where no work day is the same! The MaintenanceTechnician role will be responsible for servicing clients in the Brisbane areaand surrounding regions (e.g. Gold Coast). Full training & induction will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities of this roleinclude:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on playgroundsand other recreational facilities.
- Operating hand, powered and specialised tools.
- Operating vehicles, trucks and small plantresponsibly and safely.
- Replenishing stocked materials and preparingtools before departure.
- Maintaining work quality to meet clientexpectations, as well as minimising environmental disruption and communitydisturbance.
- Communicating effectively with management,reporting daily activities, environmental issues, and improvementopportunities.
- Maintaining accurate job records, includinglabour hours and materials.
- Work effectively in a team setting, as wellas having the ability to work autonomously and take direction.
- Fostering positive relationships with teammembers, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- QLD Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Blue or White construction induction card (mandatory)
- Positive Notice Blue Card – Paid Employment (mandatory; can be obtained when commencing the job)
- 2 years of experience in a Maintenance role (mandatory)
- MR or HR Licence (desirable)
- LF Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
- Competent in written and verbal English communication
- Competent in welding and similar tasks (desirable)
- Playground related industry knowledge (desirable)
- Good organisational skills and high attention to detail
