Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated Panel Beating and Spray Painting Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Matraville, NSW . You’ll gain hands‑on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification, learning the latest repair techniques from experienced tradespeople using industry‑leading equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Panel Beating Apprentices
Working alongside qualified panel beaters, you’ll learn how to:
- Repair damaged vehicle body panels and structural components.
- Remove, replace and align body panels.
- Use specialised panel repair equipment and workshop tools.
- Prepare repaired vehicles for the refinishing process.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and workplace safety standards.
Spray Painting Apprentices
Working alongside experienced refinishing technicians, you’ll learn how to:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting.
- Sand, mask, prime and colour‑match vehicle panels.
- Apply automotive paint and clear coats to manufacturer standards.
- Complete polishing, finishing and quality inspections.
- Maintain workshop equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to build a long‑term career in the automotive industry.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Positive attention to detail and pride in your work.
- The ability to work well in a team workplace.
- A current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one) is preferred.
