About The Role

We are seeking a Monday to Friday Maintenance Services Assistant to join our team at Derwent Views in Hobart, Tasmania . This role will focus mainly on gardening and grounds maintenance, while also supporting general maintenance tasks across the home as needed.

What You'll Do

- Maintain neat, tidy and safe gardens and grounds.
- Support lawn care, watering, weeding and general outdoor maintenance.
- Assist with basic preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Help maintain high standards across resident rooms and public areas.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and well organised.
- Support the wider maintenance team as required.

What You'll Bring

- Gardening or general maintenance experience.
- Genuine interest in working in aged care.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload.
- Relevant trade background highly regarded, but not essential.
- Current National Police Certificate.
