About the Role

The Inclusive Learning Assistant provides targeted andresponsive support for identified students through individualisedintervention, inclusive practice and wellbeing focused engagement.Working in partnership with teachers and the Inclusive LearningTeam, the role contributes to learning growth, participation andbelonging by creating safe, supportive and responsive environmentsthat enable students to thrive academically, socially andemotionally.

This role supports students with identified learning,behavioural, social and emotional needs and contributes to aculture of inclusion aligned with CGS strategic priorities andchild centred practice.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

- Certificate IV in Learning Support/Disability Support orequivalent or willingness to study towards one
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, includingthe ability to interact with students, parents and teachingprofessionals
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to workas part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills thatwill assist in the teaching of effective learning behaviours tostudents
- Aptitude for learning new IT systems such as those used atthe school
- The ability to assist with the general health andwell-being of students

All team members at CGS are required to have:

- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check
