Job Description

We are currently seeking 48 casuals to join the team to work around the Bundaberg region in Queensland. Commencing November 2026. Positions will be offered under the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA ) starting as Level 1at an hourly rate of $25.74 plus casual loading. These roles require a minimum commitment of six months in duration and are ideal for individuals who will commit to the full nine-month period providing you are successful after the probation period. Key Responsibilities:

- Harvesting and packing fruit and vegetables
- Performing general labouring tasks as required
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Repetitive heavy lifting and stacking boxes
- Available across 7 days.

Position Details:

- Casual employment with a minimum average of 30 hours per week




- Remuneration and conditions in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020
- Typically, 5 days a week across 7-day roster including weekend work, and possible work outside the span of ordinary hours.

Candidate Requirements:

- No prior experience necessary – training will be provided
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing repetitive, physically demanding tasks in an outdoor setting
- A strong work ethic and reliability are essential
- Ability to pass drug testing *
- Drug test.

You will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test if successful at the interview. This will be at your expense however you can seek reimburse if the result is negative showing no presence of drugs. This vacancy is lodged on behalf of Marto Farms.
