Macleay River Distribution (Eversons Food Processors) is a proudly Australian, family-owned business supplying quality beef and lamb products to customers across NSW and beyond. We are expanding our logistics team and currently seeking motivated, physically fit individuals to join us as Meat Lumpers.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving the movement of beef and lamb carcasses between coolrooms and refrigerated vehicles. You will:
- Work in cold environments including coolrooms and refrigerated vans
- Shoulder-carry carcasses from coolroom to truck and truck to coolroom
- Complete allocated delivery runs as part of a cohesive team
- Gain experience in a key part of the meat processing supply chain
Roster & Pay
- Competitive hourly rate under the Meat Industry Award 2020
This position requires availability for rotating day and night shift patterns.
What We're Looking For
- High level of physical fitness and safe manual handling skills
- Reliability and teamwork as core strengths
- Ability to work independently and follow safe work procedures
- Willingness to work in cold conditions and at night
Candidates must be able to regularly lift 30-50kg as part of manual handling requirements.
