We're looking for a Junior Accounts Officer to join our growing Finance Team . This is an entry‑level role, and no previous finance experience is required. If you're organised, eager to learn and enjoy being part of a team, we'll teach you the rest.
This role will commence at 3 days per week, with the opportunity to increase to full‑time as your skills, confidence and responsibilities develop. For the right person, this isn't just a job - it's the beginning of a career pathway in finance, bookkeeping and accounting.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Processing supplier invoices and validating supplier payments.
- Assisting with payment runs and month‑end activities.
- Completing bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Working with our store teams to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
- Providing administrative support to the Finance Team.
- Assisting with finance projects and process improvements.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with additional accounting tasks as your skills develop.
What you’ll bring
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Robust attention to detail and pride in getting the little things right.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office.
- A team‑first mindset - someone who enjoys supporting others, asks questions and contributes positively to the people around them.
- Previous administration or customer service experience is advantageous, but not essential.
