About the Role

This is a genuine road transport role with a clear rhythm to it. You'll be operating a late-model Scania R620 on long-haul runs, with alternating weeks of single-trailer metro and short-regional work.

Typical roster pattern:

- B-Doubles - long-haul regional runs, at least 4 nights away, Monday-Friday with the occasion 1-2 metro/day trip B-Double run's filling customers closer to town.

Hours average 50+ per week, paid weekly. This isn't a job that suits someone who wants to be home every night - but if you like being out on the road and want a structured, well-organised run with a clean product, it's a solid position.

One thing worth being upfront about: our customers run critical operations and when they need a delivery, we move. That means plans change - sometimes at short notice. If you're the kind of driver who adapts without drama and takes it in their stride, you'll fit right in. If you need everything locked in days in advance, this probably isn't the right role.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver bulk AdBlue® to customer sites across metro Townsville and regional QLD via B-Double tanker

- Represent BioBlue professionally at customer sites - you're often the face of the business on the ground

- Operate loading and unloading equipment in line with contamination-prevention and safety protocols

- Conduct basic site inspections and report any tank issues or non-compliance

- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with fatigue management requirements

- Use electronic delivery management systems and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

What We’re Looking For

- Current MC licence with demonstrated experience operating B-Double/road trains on long-haul routes - essential

- Current fatigue management accreditation and a clean safety record

- Current medical certificate, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement

- Comfortable with overnight and multi-day runs as a regular part of the role

- Someone who adapts well when plans shift - this happens regularly and we need a driver who rolls with it

- A manner with customers that leaves a good impression - approachable, switched-on, easy to deal with

- Experience in bulk fluid transport is an advantage, but not a dealbreaker
