We’re seeking anexperienced Building Surveyor (Class 2–9) to join the Sydney team based in CBD . Working within a collaborative group of specialists and reporting to an Associate, you’ll manage BCA consulting from concept to completion — influencing design outcomes, developing performance-based solutions, and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver building surveying and certification services across Class 2–9 projects.
- Assess and issue CDCs, CCs, OCs, and Crown certifications in line with legislation.
- Prepare detailed BCA assessments, reports, site inspections, and building audits.
- Develop and coordinate performance-based solutions with fire engineers and FRNSW.




- Communicate compliance strategies clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, manage client follow-ups, and contribute to business growth.
- Represent the company in meetings, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a supportive team culture.

About You

- Minimum 3 years’ experience across Class 2–9 projects.
- NSW Fair Trading accreditation highly regarded (not essential).
- Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
- Robust knowledge of the EP&A; Act, NCC (Volumes 1 & 2), and Australian Standards.
- Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
