Many of the practice's clients have been with the business for years because they value having an accountant who genuinely understands them and their business.
Rather than focusing on billable hours and unrealistic KPIs, the Practice Director has created a collaborative environment where flexibility, trust and delivering great outcomes for clients are the priority.

they're looking for an experienced Senior Business Services Accountant to become an integral part of the next chapter.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage an established portfolio of business and individual clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and IAS across all entity types.
- Provide proactive taxation and business advisory services.
- Meet with clients and build trusted, long-term relationships.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and add real value.
- Work closely with the Practice Director on more complex client matters.
- Mentor and support the practice's graduate accountant.
- Contribute ideas that improve systems, workflows and the continued growth of the practice.
About You
You’ll already be confident managing your own client portfolio within Australian public practice and enjoy working directly with clients.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing your own client portfolio within Australian public practice.
- Strong taxation and business services knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for building long-term client relationships.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating within a close-knit team.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is highly regarded.
- Experience using Xero.
- CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) is highly regarded but not essential.
