I am currently seeking a Safety Advisor to join a well-established national Tier 2 fit-out and new build construction company.

This is a hybrid role, working between the Brisbane office and roving across SEQ projects. You will act as the sole safety lead for Queensland, playing a key role in promoting a Safety-First culture by ensuring compliance with current legislation, policies, and procedures from preconstruction through to project completion.

The Role

- Provide site-based safety support across fit out and new build projects
- Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors, and senior management to drive strong safety outcomes
- Conduct site inspections, audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training
- Assist in maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures

About You

- Demonstrated EHSQ site-based experience within the construction industry
- Experience reviewing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)



and Safe Systems of Work
- Exposure to fit-out, refurbishment, and new build projects
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and contractor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational, time management, and administrative abilities
- Able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a wider team
