Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a diverse commercial projects portfolio.

You will be responsible for both technical leadership and client management, helping drive project success from concept through to construction and completion.

This is an opportunity to lead major projects, build strong client relationships, mentor developing engineers, and position yourself for future progression into senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of major building services electrical projects.

Manage project teams, resources and project outcomes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors and stakeholders.

Provide technical leadership across power, lighting, communications, security, renewable energy and specialist electrical systems.

Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers.

Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.

Prepare and review technical reports, specifications and design documentation.

Support business development activities and identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are an established Building Services Electrical Engineer who enjoys working closely with clients and helping teams succeed.

Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or equal demonstrated electrical industry experience.

Approximately 10-15 years' experience within Building Services consulting.

Strong experience delivering diverse, large and complex projects.





Demonstrated client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to lead project teams and mentor engineers.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high technical standards.
