Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Locum RMO in General Medicine to support urgent relief care across the district. This role is suited to a doctor with recent General Medicine experience who is comfortable working in a busy hospital environment, supporting ward-based care, admissions, clinical reviews, and escalation of patient concerns when required. The roster is primarily Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 , with potential for ad hoc afterhours and rare 1–2 nights or weekends if required in an emergency .

Clinical Environment

- Busy metropolitan hospital setting within Western Sydney LHD
- General Medicine ward-based work and urgent relief support
- Involvement in patient reviews, admissions, documentation, and escalation of care
- Monday to Friday roster with rare afterhours, night, or weekend requirements
- Supportive team environment with senior medical staff available

Eligibility Criteria

- AHPRA General Registration
- Recent RMO-level experience in General Medicine




- Ability to work under supervision and elevate appropriately
- Solid communication and clinical documentation skills
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current CV and references

What’s Provided

- Competitive hourly rate – $90 to $110 per hour
- Monday to Friday roster – 08:00 to 16:30
- Ad hoc afterhours may be required
- Rare 1–2 nights or weekends only if required for emergency cover
