About Us
At UniSuper, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional retirement outcomes for our members. With a long history in the University sector, we are a place where future‑minded Australians come together.
UniSuper Advice is the Home for Advice Professionals. We provide members with trusted advice that supports confident financial decisions, through personal advice, digital solutions, education and strong partnerships with independent financial advisers. Our work is grounded in professionalism, collaboration, and better retirement outcomes for members.
The Opportunity

Working closely with the Manager, Adviser & Licensee Operations, you'll help ensure work is prioritised, quality remains high, and the team continues to deliver an exceptional experience for financial advisers and licensees.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step beyond day‑to‑day operations and take on a broader leadership role. While you won't have direct people management responsibility, you'll play a key role in coaching colleagues, driving continuous improvement and supporting business change across a function that continues to evolve and grow.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the operational lead across the team, overseeing workflow allocation, prioritisation and service delivery.
- Monitor performance, reporting and quality standards to ensure consistently strong outcomes.
- Provide coaching, training and guidance to support team capability and operational excellence.
- Lead quality assurance activities and help embed effective risk and control practices.
- Support testing, system enhancements and process improvement initiatives across the function.
- Partner with teams across UniSuper to resolve complex adviser‑related enquiries and improve service outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced operations skilled who enjoys bringing structure, oversight and continuous improvement to a busy environment.
You have a natural ability to see what needs attention, whether that’s improving a process, managing risk, supporting colleagues or ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
You enjoy being the person others rely on. The one who keeps things moving, spots issues before they become problems and brings a calm, organised approach when priorities are competing. You're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail as you are providing guidance, coaching others and helping shape how a team operates.
You've likely built your career within adviser services, licensee operations, advice operations or a similar financial services workplace and understand the important role operational teams play in delivering great outcomes for advisers and their clients. You're naturally curious, proactive and always looking for opportunities to improve the way work gets done.
