Senior Network Engineer (Sydney)We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading telecommunications environment, responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of carrier-grade IP networks supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize Core IP/MPLS networks across backbone, aggregation, and edge layers
- Deliver multi-vendor solutions leveraging Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper technologies
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, QoS, and IPv6




- Lead network design initiatives across 4G/5G mobile core, IP backbone, transmission, and data center environments
- Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and network performance optimization
- Drive network automation and provisioning using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Cisco NSOManage complex fault isolation and resolution across multi-domain network environments
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support for project delivery

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Telecommunications, ISP, or Carrier-grade Networking
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper platforms
- Deep understanding of Core IP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, High Availability, and IPv6
- Experience supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile networks
- Strong troubleshooting, design, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NRS/NRP, JNCIP/JNCIE are desirable
