WBHHS is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registrars and Principal House Officers to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team across Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals. This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad clinical experience in busy regional Emergency Departments, working alongside experienced Emergency Physicians, Senior Medical Officers and multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Your opportunity:

- To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
- To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
- The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services to Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals, Bundaberg Hospital, Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services, and Rural Facilities.
- A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.

Several Temporary Full Time, 76 hrs p.f. positions from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension

Our offer:



You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $180,977 p.a., comprising salary between $137,196 - $158,618 p.a. (L4-L9) or salary between $137,196 - $150,681 p.a. (L4-L7) , employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), Vocational Training Subsidy or Professional Development Allowance and Career development Leave.
