A rare and exciting career opportunity exists for a highly experienced and proactive Executive Operations Officer to join the CEO Office at City of Newcastle (CN).

As the Executive Operations Officer, you will support the Executive Office team by delivering a diverse range of high-level administration duties and operational support. This position is responsible for delivering productive day to day administration for the CEO Office, in line with CN’s policies and procedures.

In this role you will act as an interface between the CEO’s Office, CN staff and a broad range of stakeholders including senior leaders, Councillors, and external parties. Through exceptional customer service, sound judgement and a proactive approach, you will help manage issues, coordinate priorities and contribute to the smooth operation of the CEO Office.

Through your work, you’ll have a behind the scenes pass to Newcastle's evolution as you shape our future as a liveable, inclusive city.

- 35-hour working week with flexible work arrangements as well as an optional 9-day fortnight

Remuneration: $99,000.17 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
