Radiation Services at Townsville University Hospital's Cancer Centre are seeking a Radiation Therapist - Advanced.

This role delivers high level Radiation Therapy clinical services and leadership to patients within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

About your opportunity

To provide operational management, advanced level clinical expertise and clinical leadership to a team of radiation therapists ensuring high quality radiation therapy treatment in the following clinical service areas: Radiation Therapy Treatment Unit, Radiation Therapy Planning & Quality Assurance Checking.

Advanced Radiation Therapists will be expected to fulfil duties in each clinical service area on a rotational basis.

This is a permanent full-time role.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Radiation Therapy) or recognised equivalent from a recognised Tertiary Institution.
- Membership with the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
- Current registration or eligible for registration in Queensland with the Medical Radiation Technologist Registration Board.
- Current or eligible for radiation licence in Queensland.
