About the Role:

Join a dynamic and highly specialised mental health service making a meaningful difference across Canberra.

As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will have the opportunity to influence and strengthen nursing excellence within a therapeutic and secure mental health environment. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing and working in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will lead and deliver innovative educational programs both within and external to the Division. Your work will support ongoing clinical education, preceptorship, mandatory skills assessments, and competency assessment processes for nurses working within the forensic mental health inpatient units.

In addition to leading education initiatives, you will undertake career development and supervision, participate in quality improvement activities, and play an integral role in multidisciplinary team processes.
