Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle) - Gladstone | Day Shift

You’ll be hands-on in the workshop, responsible for keeping a modern heavy vehicle fleet safe, compliant and on the road. Working across trucks and trailers, you’ll carry out a mix of servicing, diagnostics and repairs.

- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs across diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic and auto electrical systems
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Work from job cards to deliver quality repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with NHVAS and safety standards
- Identify issues early and contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment

What you will bring

- Trade qualified (Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical or similar)
- Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work well within a team
- Good communication skills and a qualified approach to your work
