NIGHT SHIFT - Freezer Forklift Operator (High Reach & Double Deep) - Smithfield Location!!

Our client is a leading company in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry and is currently seeking experienced and reliable Storepersons / Forklift Operators to join their team for night shift operations .
The location of work will be Pemulwuy or Smithfield , so flexibility to work at either site is required.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse workplace . You’ll need to be confident operating High Reach & Double Deep Forklifts , particularly CROWN brand , and working in cold/freezer conditions (-28°C) .

Shifts & Pay Rates:

Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
$43.82 per hour + OT + Cold Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

- High Reach & Double Deep Forklift operation (CROWN brand - Double Deep up to 9 bays high)

- Freezer work (-28°C environment)

- Picking and packing orders





- Replenishment and stock rotation

- Loading and unloading trucks

- Use of pallet wrapping machines and EPJs

- General warehousing and ad hoc duties

To be considered, you MUST:

- Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence

- Have High Reach Forklift experience (CROWN, Double Deep - minimum 12 months )

- Be confident operating 7-9 bays high racking

- Have 2+ years' experience in a similar role/industry

- Be physically fit (heavy lifting involved)

- Have own reliable transport

- Be punctual, reliable, and flexible with shift availability

- Freezer/cold room experience is highly regarded

- RF scanning experience preferred (not essential)

All shortlisted candidates must complete a Pre-Employment Medical , including a Drug and Alcohol Test , conducted by our on-site Occupational Nurse during the interview process.
