Happy Hearts Avalon Early Education & Care is a boutique, privately owned early learning service located on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches. We are passionate about providing exceptional care and education in a warm, supportive setting where children, families and educators feel valued.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our dedicated team.

$40.29 per hour

About the Role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work collaboratively with the leadership team and fellow educators to provide high-quality education and care while creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide high-quality education and care for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).

Develop, implement and evaluate engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Observe, assess and document children's learning and development.

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Support children's wellbeing, development and individual learning needs.

Contribute to curriculum planning and reflective practice.

Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standard (NQS) and Child Safe Standards.





Support and mentor Certificate III educators where appropriate.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Work collaboratively as part of a positive and professional team.

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Professional, reliable and passionate about early childhood education.

Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must:

Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care .

Have experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.

Hold a current Working With Children Check.

Hold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement).

Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
