Candela Nuevo, Melbourne's premier private members' club, is seeking an exceptional Venue Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Australia's most exclusive private members' clubs, renowned for its impeccable service, luxury surroundings and discerning membership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering an unparalleled member experience while leading a passionate team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club.

The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for luxury service. An appreciation for premium wines, spirits, rare whiskies and cigars will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the daily operations of the club, ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently delivered.
- Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
- Coordinate private functions, corporate events and member experiences with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality expected within a private members' club.
- Drive member satisfaction through exceptional service and continuous operational improvement.
- Oversee purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory management across premium wines, luxury spirits, rare whiskies and Australia's largest collection of Cuban cigars.
- Manage labour, rostering, budgets and operational costs while maintaining premium service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and liquor licensing regulations.

About you:





- Proven experience in a senior management role within luxury hospitality, fine dining, premium hotels or private members' clubs.
- A natural leader with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a professional team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Sound financial understanding, including budgeting, labour management and stock control.
- Experience using hospitality POS and venue management systems.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday to Saturday, including evenings.
- Experience with premium wines and wine service will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of premium spirits, rare whiskies and premium cigars will be highly regarded.
- A passion for luxury hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
