Workforce Extensions is seeking 4 experienced Pipe Fitters / Mechanical Installers for an upcoming project at Visy Glass Yatala. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work on a well-organized industrial site with an immediate start.

Location Yatala, QLD

Project Details

- Start Date: Monday, 13th July – 6:00am
- Roster: 10 Days On / 4 Days Off
- Hours: 12-hour shifts (6:00am – 6:00pm)
- Duration: Approximately 6 months
- Accommodation for people who travel in
- Return flight home at the completion of each 10-day swing

Duties

- Installation of threaded pipework between main lines and production machinery
- BSP pipe threading from 1/2" to 2"
- Installation of pipe supports, brackets, and posts
- Mechanical fitting and pipe installation works
- Working closely within a team workplace




- Adhering to strict site safety procedures and standards

Requirements

- Previous experience in industrial pipe fitting/mechanical installation
- Experience with threaded pipework and BSP threading
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a team environment
- Construction White Card
- Relevant trade qualifications highly regarded
- Ability to pass site inductions and comply with site requirements
