About the Position: The Civil Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering expert geotechnical and civil engineering solutions that underpin safe and efficient construction projects at KFM Geotech Pty Ltd.

This position involves conducting site investigations, providing construction-phase support, designing foundations and pavements, assessing environmental and groundwater conditions, and ensuring all deliverables meet regulatory standards and client requirements in a dynamic consulting setting. Key Responsibilities:





- Conduct geotechnical site investigations, soil/rock testing, and analysis to inform foundation, retaining wall, and pavement designs.
- Provide construction-phase geotechnical support, including excavation monitoring, bearing capacity assessments, and on-site inspections.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and recommendations for clients, councils, and stakeholders.
- Perform environmental and groundwater assessments, including contamination and hydrogeological evaluations.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Australian standards and project timelines.
- Contribute to project management, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of geotechnical practices.

Requirements:

- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a civil engineer, preferably in geotechnical consulting or construction.
- Strong technical skills in geotechnical analysis, foundation design, site investigation, and report writing.
- Proficiency with relevant software (e.g., geotechnical modelling tools) and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
