About the work unit / facility:

The Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit (AAMHIU) is a 36-bed acute inpatient service located at The Townsville Hospital. The unit delivers specialized care to consumers experiencing acute episodes of mental illness.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

Salary range: 87,368 to 112,064 p.a. (NG5)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of care to patients and their families within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse. The successful applicant will collaborate with and foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in patient care and service delivery.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).

Possession of class C drivers' licence.

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.

Probation period may apply.
