Qualified Plumber - Commercial & Roofing Maintenance

A Grade Maintenance is a leading multi-trade maintenance company based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs, delivering electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance services to major government and commercial clients across Victoria. About the Role

Join our road crew as a full-time Qualified Plumber on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for ongoing work as our team continues to grow. You'll work across a variety of metropolitan and regional Victorian sites on national contracts - no two days are the same. You'll also participate in an on-call rotating roster, with additional earning opportunities through overtime.

Duties

- Carry out roofing works, repairs, and maintenance across schools, government buildings, and other commercial facilities (highly desirable).
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, gas, and heating systems, including TMVs, backflow devices, and Zip units (highly desirable)
- Diagnose and fix plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
- Conduct compliance checks and routine servicing to ensure system safety and performance.
- Handle DWV system installations and ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
- Respond to service calls,



including after-hours jobs, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Work independently or as part of a team, supporting senior staff when needed.
- Apply strong safety practices, attention to detail, and effective time management in all tasks.

Skills & Experience

- Certificate III or higher in Plumbing
- Plumbing Registration
- Hands-on experience in commercial or maintenance work
- Roofing experience (highly desirable)
- White Card
- Valid Driver’s Licence
