The Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, including meal assistance and personal hygiene support.
- Providing vital social and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
- Communicating warmly and effectively with residents, families, and clinical staff.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will bring a kind, empathetic nature and a genuine passion to make a difference.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support. (Current Nursing students who have completed their aged care placement are highly encouraged to apply!)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience working within an aged care facility.
- Availability: Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week and travel across our Eastern Region homes (Camberwell, Kew, Doncaster).
- Compliance: Valid Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, WWCC (Employee), and current First Aid/CPR certifications and Flu Vax
