Submissions & Studio Growth Coordinator
We are looking to expand our Melbourne team with an organised, creative and proactive professional to help shape the next chapter of MODE.
Supporting the continued growth of our Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian studios, this role sits at the heart of our studio's business development, marketing and submissions activities. Working closely with the Melbourne leadership team and collaborating with our national marketing and business development network, you will help tell the story of our people, projects and design expertise while contributing to the growth and visibility of the studio.
This permanent position offers flexibility, with full-time or part-time arrangements available for the right candidate. Open to candidates in Melbourne or Brisbane.
Skills & Experience
The Submissions & Studio Growth Coordinator works closely with Studio Leadership and the national Marketing and Business Development team to coordinate high-quality submissions, marketing initiatives and business development activities. The role requires exceptional organisation, strong communication skills and an eye for detail to manage multiple priorities while producing professional, visually engaging and brand-aligned material.
Profile and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant Qualifications:Qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, architecture, engineering, property, construction, landscape architecture, interior design or a related professional services environment.
Submissions and Business Development Experience:Experience preparing bids, tenders, capability statements, proposals or other business development material within a professional services or design environment.
Marketing and Communication Skills:Excellent written communication and storytelling skills with the ability to prepare compelling, accurate and client-focused content.
Design and Presentation Excellence:Strong visual communication skills with experience using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare high-quality submissions and marketing collateral. Experience with CRM systems will be highly regarded.
Organisation and Project Coordination:Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, coordinate deadlines and work collaboratively with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
Professionalism and Initiative:A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and a genuine interest in contributing to studio growth and success.
You will be able to
Coordinate Winning Submissions:Prepare, coordinate and deliver high-quality bids, tenders, capability statements and proposal documents that effectively communicate MODE's experience, capability and design approach.
Support Studio Growth and Brand Visibility:Assist with marketing initiatives including thought leadership, digital content, awards submissions, studio communications, CRM management and business development activities that strengthen MODE's profile across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
Deliver Outstanding Presentation Quality:Produce professionally formatted, visually engaging documents and presentations that maintain MODE's brand standards and enhance client engagement.
Build Collaborative Relationships:Partner with studio leadership, project teams and the national marketing and business development network to identify opportunities, support strategic initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Melbourne studio.
