Requirements to Drive a Taxi for Legion Cabs
- A valid Australian driver's licence (full licence held for at least 12 months)
- Be at least 20 years old
- A clean driving record (Criminal Background Check)
- ABN number (must be registered for GST)
- Submission of required identification documents
- Passenger Transport Licence Code
Applying for the Passenger Transport Licence Code (T Condition)
Eligibility to become a Taxi Driver in NSW
- Have held an Australian driver licence for a total of at least 12 months in the previous four years
- Hold an unrestricted NSW driver licence
- Be at least 20 years old
- Be medically fit to drive a passenger transport vehicle
- If required, complete an English language test of conversational English
