Housekeeper / Cook

A busy family based in Queenscliff is seeking an experienced, proactive Housekeeper / Cook to support the smooth running of their household.This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful home and enjoys preparing simple, nutritious family meals. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, show initiative, and have the ability to anticipate the family's needs while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

- General housekeeping, including cleaning, tidying and maintaining the home to a high standard.

- Laundry, folding, ironing and changing bed linen as required.

- Kitchen organisation, cleaning and pantry management.

- Preparing fresh, wholesome meals for the family throughout the week.

- Monday: Prepare meals for Monday and Tuesday.

- Wednesday: Prepare meals for Wednesday and Thursday.

- Friday: Prepare Friday's meal and leave additional meal preparation where required,



while ensuring the home is organised and ready for the weekend.

- Maintaining an organised, calm and efficiently run household.

Candidate Requirements;

- Previous experience working as a Housekeeper and/or Family Cook within a private home.

- Confident in preparing simple, healthy family meals including proteins, vegetables, grains and pasta.

- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently.

- Naturally intuitive and discreet.

- Takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming home workplace.

- Current Police Check

- Excellent contactable references.
