Dicky Beach Surf Club is an award winning club -seeking to hire a motivated qualified chef. This unique opportunity will provide the right applicant an opportunity to work in one of the Sunshine coasts most picturesque locations.

We offer above award rates and a flexible roster. Shifts normally work from 11am - 8.30pm with an hour (or more) break Monday to Sunday.

We are looking for someone with a passion for creating quality food to join our amazing team. The position is a full-time salaried role for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will:

- Be Trade Qualified
- Minimum Qualifications Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Be motivated and willing to work in a team environment
- Be driven by quality and customer satisfaction
- Flexible working conditions for the right candidate
- Have ability to work in a fast paced workplace
- Minimum 2 years industry experience

Duties Include:





- Plan menus and food preparation issues with managers or head chef;
- Order food, kitchen supplies and equipment;
- Prepare and store food stuffs, ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained;
- Preparation of meals, ensuring presentation, portion control and quality is of the highest standard;
- Liaise with Head Chef or Managers on Functions or Special requirements;
- Maintain kitchen equipment and individual tools of the trade;
- Constantly update knowledge and skills to keep abreast of industry trends;
- Train and supervisor apprentices, trainees and other kitchen staff;
- Assist or compile kitchen rosters and staffing reviews;
- Relieving and performing other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management.
