About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Water Service Coordination team in North Sydney and apply your civil engineering experience to real project outcomes. You will help deliver water and wastewater servicing outcomes for development and infrastructure projects — working through approvals pathways, coordinating with water authorities, and supporting servicing strategies from early planning through to delivery.

You will work alongside Project Coordinators, Team Leaders and senior engineers, taking on responsibility and working independently while contributing to practical, high-quality project delivery. You will be supported to continue building your technical, skilled and commercial skills.

What you will do

- Support water and wastewater servicing strategies and designs for development projects
- Help coordinate with water authorities (such as Sydney Water) on servicing requirements and approvals




- Work through approvals pathways and prepare the supporting documentation
- Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, registers, assessments and project correspondence
- Help Project Coordinators and Team Leaders keep projects on scope, on time and on budget
- Bring your technical thinking to design and assessment discussions
- Flag project risks, issues and delays early
- Keep clear, accurate records and work to our quality, WHS, Safety in Design and risk systems
- Communicate openly with project teams, clients, authorities and stakeholders

What you will bring

- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- A solid grounding in civil engineering principles, design and project delivery
- An interest in water servicing, infrastructure and working with authorities
- An awareness of relevant standards, legislation and authority requirements
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in doing work well
- Clear written and verbal communication, with proficient English
- Good organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- The confidence to ask questions, take feedback on board and keep improving
- The ability to work well both on your own and as part of a team

$80,000 – $85,000 per annum, excluding superannuation, commensurate with experience.
