We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent chance for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, supporting financial operations, reporting, analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance functions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare BAS, payroll-related reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise SAP Business One queries.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and key stakeholders.

Skills & Experience





- Relevant accounting or finance qualifications (CA qualified or working towards qualification preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Power Query (favourable not essential)
- Data analysis and reporting

- Strong SAP Business One (SAP B1) experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build, modify, and maintain SAP B1 queries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
