Our capabilities and experience include the manufacture, installation, commissioning, repair, testing and service (whether routine or emergency) of business-critical power generation and electric motor products including a fully fitted workshop with skilled mechanical and electrical staff.

ARA Electrical (Kenshaw) requires anExperienced Electrical / Mechanical Fitter to assist in our growing workshop.

Required Skills

The applicant should have the following:

- Must have minimum of 5 years’ Experience in repairing AC and DC Motors.
- Fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Fitter or Electrician
- Experience in repairing flameproof motors (Desirable)
- Valid Forklift Licence (Desirable).
- Valid driving licence
- White Card.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs.




- Have a high attention to detail and work in a clean and orderly manner
- Commitment to compliance, including health and safety measures of both the Company and customers, including undertaking additional training when required.
- Have an outstanding commitment to safety, work autonomously and in a group and have excellent communication skills
- Dedication to problem solving and product performance
- Good presentation and effective organisation and communication skills
- Must have Australian Working Rights

Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, as well as relevant police and employment background checks will be conducted.

In addition to being able to deliver professional technical competence and excellent customer service, candidates must have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

This role would suit a self-motivated Electrical or Mechanical Fitter, who is used to working under minimal supervision and looking to develop their skills to the next level. Strong knowledge and experience working on both AC & DC motors, with a high attention to detail. Availability to work overtime and weekends when required (this is minimal). A strong commitment to safety and dedication to following Occupational Health and Safety requirements are essential.
