Expressions of Interest - Underground Mineworker (Operator)

We are pleased to announce the resumption of operations at Tahmoor Mine under current ownership.

As we prepare to restart this Southern Coalfields operation, we are seeking expressions of interest for experienced and motivated mining workers to join us in building a safe, productive and sustainable future.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the next chapter of a mine with a proud history, helping establish a strong culture, rebuild capability and contribute to the long-term success of the operation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking expressions of interest for candidates for permanent positions based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

We are looking for experienced Underground Mineworkers (Operators) to:

- Execute production and/or outbye activities in accordance with the mine plan and operational schedule
- Operate plant and equipment in line with site standards and operating procedures
- Adhere to safe work practices and comply with all site policies and procedures
- Identify and report hazards, incidents and improvement opportunities




- Work collaboratively to achieve production and safety targets
- Contribute to a positive team culture and operational success

Weekday & Weekend Day/Afternoon/Night shift rosters are available.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable team player with a positive attitude, sound work ethic and the ability to work safely and effectively in a production-focused environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

- Underground coal mining experience
- Relevant underground coal mining competencies and operating authorisations
- Generic Underground Coal Induction, including Self-Escape and CABA training
- Current Driver's Licence
- Evidence of relevant training, qualifications and competencies
- Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness
