True Protein Pty Ltd About the role: We’re looking for an experienced Supply & Demand Supervisor to oversee daily operations, train and manage a small team, and help bring our new automated facility at Braeside to life. This factory and role would be working under the True Protein’s group of companies.

You’ll be working in a clean, modern environment with a new CP6000 canning machine at its heart. No expense has been spared to create a small, efficient plant that just needs your special skills to help keep it running at full speed to produce an innovative new drink, produced right here in Australia.

Task & responsibilities

- Oversee daily production operations and ensuring output targets are achieved
- Manage and monitor all operating machinery, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
- Develop and manage the weekly production schedule, keeping inventory ahead of demand
- Supervise and coordinate the packing line, robotic and pallet wrapping systems to maintain efficiency and product quality
- Conduct staff training and development activities (where capability permits) to build team skills and compliance
- Determining and monitoring policies for purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies
- Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and key stakeholders




- Preparing plans to maintain optimal stock levels at a minimum cost and ensuring re-ordering at the right times
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Overseeing forwarding transportation and liaising with other departments to track the movement of supplies and outward goods
- Provide hands-on operational cover during staff breaks and absences across all production areas
- Ensure all workplace health and safety protocols are followed on the production floor
- Communicate effectively with the Production Operations Supervisor regarding production progress, staffing issues, and equipment status
- Assist with quality control checks and production reporting as required
- Track and report on production metrics including quality, output, raw materials, and goods in/out
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, WHS standards, and environmental requirements
- Report regularly to senior management on performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities

Qualification & experience

- Hands-on experience in food or beverage manufacturing management
- Comfortable operating and maintaining automated processing and packaging machinery
- A natural leader who builds capable, motivated teams




- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and WHS legislation
- Sharp problem-solver who reads the data and drives real improvements
- Flexible - happy to step in and assist across all operational areas when needed
- Current forklift licence (desirable)
- Qualifications in Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management
- 12 months minimum work experience in a related field is required
