The prospect
Working within a collaborative Research and Insights team, you will develop reporting tools, dashboards and analytical outputs that enable the organisation to monitor performance and understand the factors affecting its customers.
You will work with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data, applying statistical analysis, trend analysis and predictive techniques to provide practical recommendations to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse customer and operational data to identify trends, patterns, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, databases, data catalogues and reporting artefacts.
- Automate monthly reporting processes and improve the accessibility of customer insights.
- Provide specialist statistical analysis, forecasting and advice on customer and operational performance.
- Develop meaningful customer metrics, KPIs and measures of initiative success.
- Support customer experience programs,
market research activities and incident-management responses.
- Translate research findings into clear recommendations for operational, process and service improvements.
- Build robust relationships with internal stakeholders, industry peers, research agencies, vendors and platform providers.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, statistical validity and information security.
Skills and experience
- Strong research, analytical and data-driven problem-solving capability.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, ideally including Oracle.
- Experience using Power BI or similar data visualisation and business intelligence tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SAS would also be valuable.
- Experience working with market research methodologies, customer insights or customer experience programs.
- Ability to understand complex data relationships and define the calculations required to produce meaningful outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience producing concise reports, briefings, dashboards and graphical presentations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate would be advantageous.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, science, engineering, commerce, mathematics or statistics is desirable.
