A unique prospect exists for a highly motivated Radiographer to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital on a casual basis with a willingness to share on-call, including weekends and a flexibility of hours in relation to daily workloads.
As a Radiographer your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the perioperative team on a variety of procedures and casemix
- Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up
- Haemodynamic monitoring for patient (training will be provided)
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation License
- Radiation Safety
- Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required
- ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience (desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
