SURF Toyota is seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Technician to join our dealership in Tweed Heads, NSW.
You will play a key leadership role in our reconditioning workshop by performing advanced diagnostics and repairs, maintaining Toyota's high standards, and mentoring developing technicians.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections, routine servicing and complex repairs
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement within the workshop
- Assist with all workplace health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
- Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle), Heavy Commercial Vehicle, Heavy Diesel equivalent.
- Leading other technicians with a supportive supportive approach
- Experience with a wide range of brands and models
- Experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
