Titan Ind Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior LV Mechanic to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in our automotive operations, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services to our clients. As a Senior LV Mechanic, you will be responsible for complex vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work, whilst also mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of our workshop standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on light vehicles to the highest standard
- Execute routine maintenance tasks including servicing, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Conduct roadworthiness inspections and ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed work records and job documentation
- Mentor and guide junior mechanics, providing technical support and training on workshop procedures
- Contribute to workshop efficiency by planning work schedules and managing job priorities effectively
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair requirements and progress updates
What we’re looking for
- Proven expertise in vehicle diagnostics, engine work, transmission systems, and suspension repairs
- Competency with automotive diagnostic equipment and computer-based diagnostic systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectivelyCurrent driver’s licence and willingness to conduct test drives
