About the Role
Reporting to the Reliability Leader, you'll be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment to maximise reliability and minimise downtime. Working closely with production and the maintenance team, you'll respond to breakdowns, carry out preventative maintenance,
and play a key role in improving equipment reliability and plant performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance of plant and equipment
- Fault finding and mechanical repairs
- Planned maintenance activities and servicing
- Working from maintenance schedules and work orders
- Diagnosing equipment faults and implementing effective repairs
- Supporting production to maximise plant uptime
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a safe working environment and following site safety procedures
About You
You’ll ideally bring:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Highly regarded:
- Food manufacturing experience
- Working at Heights ticket
- Confined Space ticket
