Senior Finance Analyst

Searson Buck are proud to partner with a respected professional services firm to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst. This chance will suit an accountant with public practice experience who is looking to further develop their taxation, financial reporting and advisory capability within a supportive and growth-focused environment. Working closely with experienced leaders, you’ll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, family groups and growing enterprises, while building the technical and commercial skills required for long-term career progression.

About the Role

Financial & Technical

- Prepare financial statements across a range of entity structures including companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders
- Complete taxation compliance obligations including Income Tax Returns, BAS, IAS and related reporting
- Assist with tax planning, financial analysis and business advisory engagements
- Ensure work is delivered accurately and in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Client Portfolio Management

- Manage client engagements and deliver work within agreed deadlines and budgets
- Support a broad range of privately owned businesses across multiple industries
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and client outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records





Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build strong relationships with clients through professional and proactive communication
- Work closely with senior staff on advisory projects and complex client matters
- Support business owners with practical financial and taxation advice
- Collaborate across the team to deliver a high standard of client service

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Experience preparing financial statements and taxation returns
- Exposure to business services, taxation or advisory environments
- CA or CPA studies commenced, completed or the desire to pursue further qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
- A client-focused approach and the ability to build professional relationships

Remuneration

$80,000 – $90,000 + Super
